Here's a recap of what we did last month!

It's summer (in the northern hemisphere) and hopefully y'all are enjoying the outdoors. If you were busy touching grass, here's what you missed on our channel! Patrons picked The Truman Show, and it was a hit for the YouTube audience! Jaws with Dan Murrell came out on July 4th, of course. The patriotic theme continued with Christopher Reeve's Superman. We also reacted to The Road to El Dorado, ranked more 2000s romcoms, and rounded off July with Arrival!

Over here on Patreon, we shared more bloopers, and Jono and Alan posted a few movies reviews. We've been spoiled with great summer movies! What movies have you seen in theaters recently?

And that's basically it for July. If you saw June's newsletter, the Seawrights went on vacation and Jono moved back to Utah, so CT updates are in short supply. As they should be. Make the most of summer, folks! ☀️

We usually have a shoot in late July, but with the above going on, we moved it to early August and watched movies around all the summer activities.

The August shoot is happening in just a few days. We're covering some recent popular movies, like one y'all rightly keep requesting: KPop Demon Hunters! Stay tuned! 🎤😈

In late August, we're hanging out with directors Scott Beck and Bryan Woods at their theater, The Last Picture House! They were virtual guests on our Heretic episode. You're the first to know that tickets are available. Get them now and beat the (inevitable) rush! We hope to see you there on August 22nd.

After the August shoot, we're prepping for the September shoot and FanX! It's always a fun shoot because, even though we're tired, we get to hang out with y'all at the end of the week. Are you coming to FanX? We're planning a special 5th anniversary panel. No spoilers, you'll just have to be there!
