2024-04-06 13:55:46 +0000 UTCIf you two haven't seen the 1991 film starring Danny DeVito, Gregory Peck, and Penelope Ann Miller, "Other People's Money," then I submit you all should react to that movie (along with "Horrible Bosses" and "Pacific Rim"). Unfortunately, the film has an overall rating of 31% on Rotten Tomatoes (which I just rated and reviewed it over there--defending the film). However, it's, in my opinion, much more fairly rated on IMDb at 6.2 out of 10. No, it's not a masterpiece, but it's not terrible either. I watched the movie back in the 90's and liked it then. So, I think my pro-IASIP & pro-DeVito biases don't color my positive attitude toward the movie. With that being said, I think I'll watch the film again through my IASIP lenses and think of it as how Frank made his fortune while Dennis and Dee were stuck with their hoor of a mother in Philadelphia :D

2024-04-06 13:45:31 +0000 UTCdecent episode though the premise is a bit weird. why would an escape room spend the time and money to install cameras and locks in a personal apartment instead of just having it at their location? i liked the grazing cow bit and how they're all trying to be alpha, but some of the misogyny felt a bit heavy-handed. it's subtle enough here but becomes more pronounced in upcoming episodes - where you can feel the writers kinda have an agenda and prioritize making a certain point over being funny and letting the dialogue flow more naturally.

2024-04-05 05:19:19 +0000 UTCYeah, at the time, it was legit not known if Glenn Howerton would ever be back. So that send off at the end of S11 and then waiting for S12 was def crazy. It is worth noting that Glenn had no role in writing for this season, though. He was strictly acting for involvement. IMO it contributed to it being a weaker season.

2024-04-05 05:15:01 +0000 UTCIn my opinion this might be the worst season of always sunny.... It has a few great episodes tho. Glenn being busy with AP BIO is pretty noticeable. Episode 3 is my least favorite of the series, but 4-5 are amazing :)

As for shows to watch going forward I’ll suggest Parks and Rec, Arrested Development, Wilfred (US version, there’s an Aussie version also I haven’t seen but the US one is fantastic, I’d be cool with either lol,) Nathan For You (underrated) I Think You Should Leave, The Good Place, Eastbound and Down, for comedies. If you guys are interested in dramas or other genres let us know 😄
