2024-04-08 02:32:09 +0000 UTCI'm surprised to see so many recommendations for the show Psych. I'm not sure how it would play out in a reaction series, but it was an awesome show. I think I'm gonna go re-watch the episodes with Cary Elwes now. What We Do In The Shadows is probably the best choice both for the viewers and the channel. It's funny as hell. Also, they get a MUCH better actor from The Office to do some guest appearances. That person, though, never disappoints when on screen.

2024-04-05 19:34:26 +0000 UTCHave you guys done The Office? I think it's a must and has great cringe humor. Like the most laugh out loud moments of any series I've seen. I've also seen people recommend Psych and WWDITS and I like both of those, too. I think it depends what kind of investment you want to make. WWDITS has more quick humor and it's easier as it's just a sitcom. Psych has character development and is a detective series at heart so there's that element. I think it's a rare gem, style wise with a great cast. Someone else recommended Modern-Family too. That would be nice too. I think it's a really funny sitcom with a great cast. I think it's a little more utilitarian than a lot of other sitcoms that I would put in a Top 5 funniest sitcoms of this era list so the mass-appeal is there.

The only issue is I'd ignore the reboot and stick with the first 3 seasons only, but if you're a reaction channel that might upset a few people (though I think the vast majority of people would agree)

2024-04-05 05:24:13 +0000 UTCok this episode isn't completely horrendous, i did enjoy the doll. i just really don't like the hamfisted attempt at social commentary, the conservative vs liberal stuff is too on the nose. especially in these later seasons it feels like they're stuck in this very superficial CNN vs FOX viewers way of looking at politics and i think the writers themselves are stuck in the left vs right tribal mindset, whereas south park tends to be more independent minded and sharper with their social satire. mindy's character was super annoying too her only funny moment was when they mocked her for running out of material and told her to get lost lol also not a fan of mac's character from here on out. rob is literally trying to shoehorn his ridiculous physique (that can only be obtained with hollywood trainers) into the show and trying to pass it off as intentional humor but it's obviously an ego-driven decision. like him and caitlyn getting plastic surgery to the point of almost looking like AI by season 16 lol and that makes them less funny. they're supposed to be unhealthy broke scumbags from south philly but they look and act like they've been in hollywood for a few decades. a complete 180 on his fat mac ethos. charlie must have an aging portrait of himself stashed away somewhere because he looks exactly the same
