2023-11-01 08:15:25 +0000 UTCdel Toro is a big sunny fan which is why he cast Charlie Day for Pacific Rim. getting a cameo in the show was Charlie returning the favor. del Toro then helped shape Charlie's directorial debut Fool's Paradise by offering his advice post-production, which made Charlie rewrite some things and film reshoots. apparently this didn't help because i hear pretty awful things about it :( scared to watch it. charlie day is a genius i guess he just needs to find his footing as a director or get a better script.
