It always seemed so coincidental because I never got ticketed for anything except having a brake light out once, but I think the rum ham energy was just too strong for the police to ignore.

2023-09-06 13:42:38 +0000 UTCI had pretty low expectations for season 16 but it actually exceeded my expectations. There are 2-3 episodes in it that are solid. But it’s all opinion. I like playing chess for example, and one of the episodes is about that so some people wouldn’t really like it but I found it hilarious. Or breaking bad, one of my all time favorite shows, hilarious take on that in the season. So yeah it’s a good season. I’d say it’s definitely better than 13,14, and 15. I agree with what I heard Charlie say on the podcast in one of their arguments about the creative process. He said something like he prefers the lack of story line. I think one of the best aspects to sunny is the cold open joke. The fact you have the little intro but and then the title comes up and you are like one wtf the gang goes Jihad wtf does that mean ?!?! And that creates the hilarious suspense of what is going to happen. When it’s a mini storyline it’s like ok we’ll I know what’s happening in general so it’s less crazy

2023-09-06 09:36:34 +0000 UTCi don't think there's a truly weak episode until season 10 finale honestly. i get why people dislike episode 7x5 but i never considered it weak maybe compared to the rest of the season yea. 11 - 12 has some of my favorites but more weak episodes too. 13 - 15 is mostly weak and some strong ones here and there. too many attempts at social commentary or like an idea they have that seems to supersede comedic timing/writing. and the chemistry between the gang starts to feel a bit forced and unnatural. i'm scared to start 16

2023-09-06 07:01:16 +0000 UTCExact same for me. Overall is the best full season since I don’t dislike or skip over any of the episodes when watching sunny on a rainy day. But none of them are in my top 5 either. Which is why with this show it’s hard to say it’s the “peak”. Because there are 4-5 episode stretches in seasons 8-12 which I consider some of the funniest ones. Season 9 episodes 2-8 (minus one in the middle of that) is pure gold. But the few weaker ones in the season make 7 ahead of it as far as best season overall

2023-09-06 06:56:24 +0000 UTCTrue…I think with Sunny you have to rate their seasons not with which has the best episodes, but which ones have the least a amount of average ones. I think season 12+ still has a few great ones, but 7-11 are basically all great episodes with very few misses like 7.5…. The weird thing about season 7 is I kind of feel it’s my favorite, but it doesn’t even contain 1 of my top 5 episodes.

Not every episode but there are some that I’ve always questioned how they didn’t get taken down and yet Dees characters got earlier ones taken down. This is probably the best full season start to end but 7,8,9,10,11 are all considered “peak” as far as the stretch of the show with the least weak episodes in it. Some consider 9 to be better than 7. And I like 11 just as much as 7
