Another little goof is that Mac is wearing tan shorts when we see him jump in the pool but then while chicken fighting he can been seen wearing what looks like blue jeans.

right on we agree there. i just really like to highlight the wolves in sheep's clothing. democrats often can get away with a lot more nefarious stuff because they have this faux-liberal veneer and their support for LGBT or abortion or other social issues which doesn't cost them anything and they're really just cynically exploiting for votes bush and trump are the obvious big bad wolves and obama was this harvard constitutional lawyer "liberal" winner of the nobel peace prize...who took bush's 2 wars and turned them into 7. and said he didn't want to charge any bush war crimes because it's "time to look forward". well how do you ever prosecute a crime then? lol and to my original point, he just continued bush's bailouts and never went after anyone for financial fraud. he's a smooth talker i'll give him that. our current president doesn't have the same eloquence with his words shall we say 😁

I Take them all Republican or Democrat as a Puppet being manipulated behind the scenes by the actual people who are that puppeteers. All our Presidents and almost any visual leader thru out the entire world are mostly & merely corrupt puppets, kind of fed by their yes man, that their own ideas are in fact their own ideas and in no way influenced by his or hers surroundings. I do not play the Red or Blue flag crap lol

Matt thanks for the clarification, I guess I remember them as two separate scandals/events because of how shit hit the fan in 2010 but you're right. Andrew - the US is a country with the greatest concentration of wealth and power in human history. they will not allow us to vote out corruption and profiteering. left and right is a total psy-op used to divide the working class, we have ONE party with 2 wings. Obama our first African American president destroyed the most autonomous successful African nation (Libya) based on a lie as bad as WMDs in Iraq. they took a mistranslation of Gaddafi, NATO claimed he was going to kill his own people, so we bombed the country to hell, and ethnic cleansing and slave trade took over and we just left it. for isis to swarm in. we can go domestic policies - obamacare came from the heritage foundation and was he even bragged it was the same thing as Romneycare. just a subsidy for the insurance industry. if you still look at obama and clinton and even bernie sanders as these santa clause figures and the republicans as the bad guys you're still taking the deceptions and manipulations at face value. no one who threatens deep financial interests gets anywhere near the white house. they just switch off bad cop good cop every 4 years

this is a top 5 for me. Such a great ep

in Q1 of 2007 the average house in the US sold for $322k. By Q1 of 2009 it dropped down to $257k. It wouldn't get back above $322k until Q3 of 2013. In college my roommate bought a newly built home in 2005 for like $500k (he rented out the other rooms to me and other friends to pay his mortgage and then some). It was eventually worth half what he bought it for and it took years for it to recover the market price so he could sell it. He just rented it for years instead.

Yes; when Frank and Charlie both confront the attorney, Glenn Howerton and Rob McElhenney are breaking character and desperately trying not to bust out laughing. Look at Rob McElhenney's reaction when Frank says "bull bird."

The mortgage situation wasn't seperate from the Great Recession of 2008. The housing bubble that burst started the global financial crisis. The subprime mortgage crisis began in 2007. The worst of it didn't end until 2010, yes. But, it greatly contributed to the Great Recession of 2007-2008 (which was during the tail end of the Bush administration). In 2008, the Bush administration & Congress passed the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008/Troubled Assets Relief Program (EESA/TARP), and the Obama administration instituted the Public- Private Partnership Investment Program, in 2009. Both of these measures, sought to, and did, recapitalize banks (bank bailouts) and markets. Both the Bush administration and the Obama administration and the respective Congressional sessions, also passed economic stimulus packages.

Matt D

Bro not for nothing, But 2008 was Obama's first year & was handed down a MOUTAIN of errors from Bush that had to be cleaned, including a false war with the lie attached of the search for weapons of mass destruction when Bush just wanted to finish what his father never did, Capture Saddam. Obama, doubled down & got Osama bin Laden. They say you never really notice a president impact until 4 years after office, because they are usually occupied fixing the previous administrations actions, usually only with two term presidents can you really see their influence.

Andrew Revella

you're right 2008 was the recession but that was a culmination of multiple things, deregulation etc.... the mortgage situation was its own thing i think more 2010

Russian Paul

yea rampant mortgage fraud in the US during the obama years. what did he do? kicked around 5 million families out their homes and didn't charge one bankster for fraud. meet the new boss, same as the old boss
