I've also heard Simon Pegg tell the story that after he got his first good payday after the first season of Spaced he flew over to New York to see Episode 1 and after the film he left a voice mail on Edgar Wright's phone saying he just saw Episode 1 and now he wants to throw himself off of the Empire State building 😂
