When I first watched Shawshank, I guess I was too young to really appreciate it. After having rewatched it recently, it hits all the right notes in all the right categories. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2021-07-24 20:04:21 +0000 UTCI remember when I first started listening to you guys a few years back that I wrote you a 5 star podcast review and in it I asked if/when you were going to be reviewing The Shawshank Redemption. So I am absolutely buzzing that you’ve finally done it! So, onto the film. I feel like this is a highly unoriginal thing to say but Shawshank is my favourite film of all time! The story, the cast, the performances, the score, the cinematography, the locations, the narration, the ending, the atmosphere, everything about it is just perfect! No matter how many times I watch it I am complete transfixed and engrossed in the story. It’s just a wonderful movie with some of the most iconic scenes ever put to film and for my money it’s the best film ever made! 5 stars but if I could I’d give it all the stars in the universe! I highly doubt that there will be another film in my lifetime that I’ll love more than The Shawshank Redemption.
