2020-05-06 06:38:13 +0000 UTCReview: Peter Jackson really stuck the landing in wrapping up the LOTR trilogy here. All of the (many) loose threads and errant storylines are wrapped up in a satisfying and beautiful way. Sure, it’s long. And sure, many jokes were made of the multiple endings. But I think that’s what makes it work so well in giving everything time to breathe, wrap up and even go a little further for the journey of these amazing characters. I still only think of Randall’s speech from Clerks II during that one ending scene though.
