Thailand is always hot, it's tropical. Even in the coldest month of December the average temperature high is around 85f, and 77f average for the day. Even the sea is very warm at that time of year. I spent Christmas on an island near koh samui and it was so hot and sunny, we had BBQ for dinner and spent the day kayaking
