Demons Within Update 14 devlog: A party to remember!

Hey hey!

Apologies to you all! I wanted to write this last week but the week was busy and all and I just ended up not doing it. Well, I'm doing it now!

This is only the first devlog about Update 14. I feel like I should've made another one earlier as, right now, Update 14 is like... 70% written. At least for the amount planned. That's pretty good progress! Things usually don't take THAT long after the writing is done.

After Update 13, as you all know 'cuz I posted a few updates here, I took some time to progress on the side game project thingy. I really want to continue that, but I also really want to get Update 14 out as, as I mentioned before, Updates 14 and 15 will be pretty big and important! I'm really looking forward to it!

Well, in all honesty, I think Update 15 will be MORE important. It will have more... different content. Update 14 will set everything up, as well as allow us to see a bunch of small and hopefully fun things. Without further ado, let's talk about it for a bit.

I can't say too much, as always, but what I can say is that Update 14 will mainly involve the event that a certain tiger has been talking about nonstop. Resnick is tired of hearing about it and maybe so are you! Edwin's birthday party.

It'll be a good update for Edwin enjoyers, but Ludwig and Boris enjoyers will be eating well too. There will be one scene that will be heavily branched, happening in a completely different way depending if:

• You did Edwin's spare day and went to the bedroom with Boris

• You did Edwin's spare day but didn't interact with Boris

• Or, you did Ludwig's spare day

It's not a big scene, but for those who like seeing all the options, maybe prepare a few saves. ;)

Aside from that, we'll get to see little bit of Sam and a little bit of Jayden too. It's a party that gathers a lot of people so I really wanted to give an opportunity to see a bit of everyone.

And not just that! We'll also be seeing an entirely new "minor" character that Blain is drawing up. I'm really happy with that one! I'll show previews soon! It's someone who has been mentioned in very minor ways in a few places. Someone from the tavern. ;)

And, although this update will be a bit more chill, we'll still get to learn some new things that everyone has been looking forward to. I can't say more about this!

This it. We're heading towards the climax of what I consider to be "Act 1" of Demons Within and we haven't had an event this important for the story in quite a while!

I'm really looking forward to it!

OH! And did I mention... CGs?

We have one CG planned for Update 14 and ANOTHER for Update 15! Look forward to that too, as Blain is really cooking with those! x)

Okay, okay. If I didn't forget anything, this is enough for now. As an introduction to what Update 14 is gonna bring. I'll make more devlogs as I go and shoot some previews later in the week!
