Demons Within Update 13 BETA release date!

Hey hey!

I'm here today again to give you all a tiny kinda-sorta devlog and, most importantly, finally announce the BETA release of Update 13!

First things first! I feel confident enough to announce the beta on...

Next Wednesday, October 22nd!

I still have a million small details to iron out in the update and a few major pieces of the script that aren't completely done, but things are done enough that I'm confident I can finish it by Wednesday! A beta doesn't really have to have EVERYTHING done anyway, but rest assured that all the content and most things will definitely be there!

As a refresher to those who are new, the BETA version releases only for Level 3 Patrons and it's the earliest version to read the story on! It usually lacks a few things, like sound effects and a few other effects that aren't essential, as well as a fix or two.

This update has been kicking my butt. I know I've done this before, but in retrospect, I really should have cut this into two different updates. Its length is about as long as two updates usually are and just because I felt like having only half of it would be too short, I decided to keep going. I would have been able to release a smaller update much earlier if I hadn't gone as far as I did, though. Next time I'll strive to keep the updates shorter and faster, as I think that's kind of better for everyone.

However, I hope the wait will be worth it. We have big events, big new things, a big CG and content that I think people have been wanting for a while. And all of that is still just leading up to Update 14 and 15 that will likely be even bigger. They have big things going for them! But I'll talk about that when we get to that.

For now, yeah! Beta of Update 13 next Wednesday. As another refresher, the full release to all patrons should happen shortly after the beta. I'd say, to be safe, the week after, as there are a lot of sounds to do in this update and all and it's unlikely I'll get that plus bugs plus whatever is missing done in just two days!

Whew. We're almost there! I'm sorry for the delay on this one, but it's coming!
