Patreon price changes for new members (please read!)

Hey hey!

I have a few ramblings written down about the hows and whys, but I realized that things got a bit long (as always), so I'll try to start by going straight to the point:

Life keeps going and things like, well, inflation, are an unfortunately inevitable part of it... With the growth of Demons Within and the game growing bigger and better, we'll be doing a few price changes on Patreon.

FEAR NOT! I'd like to clarify a few things right from the get-go:

1 - Everyone who is currently a Patron will remain a Patron for the same price they are currently paying. You'll only be subjected to the new price if you cancel the membership and decide to come back or switch tiers someday in the future. There's absolutely no surprise price increases! Patreon has an option in repricing to do that, thankfully, as I think it's very fair that people who were promised a price keep paying that price despite the changes.

2 - The new price changes will take effect starting next Monday, May 5th! For anyone who wants to change things around to lock in the current prices or review where they stand, you can still do that.

All of that being said, here are how the new prices are going to be:

• Lvl 1 Tier (access to patreon builds, devlogs and polls): From $3 to $5

• Lvl 2 Tier (everything above + art and assets wip previews): From $7 to $9

These price changes are aimed at both keeping it possible to continue doing what I do full-time and, hopefully, with the game's value growing, allow for even more awesomeness to go into the game! There are some areas I have only just begun experimenting with, such as original music, but I very much want to go deeper in, as I'm 100% sure it'll make the game look and feel even more awesome!

Working on a game of the scale of Demons Within pretty much alone is a full-time job for me. At least while I aim to keep the updates and new content coming at what I consider to be a reasonable amount of time. Patreon support is what has made it possible for me to do this full-time, and I'm extremely thankful for that.

This is the first growth in two years, and this type of thing is always awkward to talk about, but I don't have immediate plans on changing the prices again for the foreseeable future, of course. Everyone, please do whatever is best for you, your wishes, and your financial situation. I greatly appreciate all the support you've all given already! Both financial and through the awesomeness of this community in the form of comments, the Discord server, fan arts, and everything else.
