I agree that they're setting up Bo to be the next leader but I always come back to that GOT quote; "good soldiers don't make good kings". I think she could be driven by revenge once she got back into power and Din would want to focus on rebuilding Mandalore. Both have valid reasons but I just don't see Mandalorian season 4 happening with Din being the new ruler.. they've already told a version of the 'new dynasty' story with TBOBF and it wasn't received in the best way

2023-03-09 00:24:37 +0000 UTCBo Katan WAS in power when the empire invaded Mandalor. It happened right after rebels when Sabine gave her the darksaber and she began leading the Mandalorians. That's when Moff Gideon invaded, took the Saber, and destroyed the planet. However, I think her years of exile and reflection, alongside this quest will put her in a position to be a better ruler. Let's be honest, Din is an average fighter with no leadership experience or capability, hooked on a creed that barely works. He needs to find himself and train to be a worthwhile ruler. Which is why I think him being with Bo Katan as allies will be the best way forward. Either way, I just need more of this back and forth lol
