Daisy out of everyone knows what it's like to see a father struggle after losing his daughter. I don't think she had could bare to lie to him and make him go through what Cal did. Giving him false hope is not worth it.

2023-01-01 18:22:46 +0000 UTCMan every time I see the Mack stuff at the end of this ep I'm just done... The writers are wild for not making Daisy just lie to Mack to get him out... I get wanting the drama to happen with Yo-Yo but they write Daisy so mad sometimes it's frustrating. She's normally a decent or even good character; they just wrote her so wild at certain points in the show like that moment when she leaves Mack.

Plus the Trip actor got a new job at the time so they had to write him out of this show. Seems ridiculous now but at the time that was why they killed him off.
