Huge fan but you losing your mind after four episodes when the story clearly laying out the roadmap to the rings but you knew that already likely and just wanna get your complaints on the internet for all to see

2022-09-17 18:57:07 +0000 UTCYeah, LotR has always been a slow burn...but the payoff is worth it. Return of the King won Best Picture and a ton of other awards. I wasn't familiar with the source material when I saw Fellowship and I walked out like WTF...lol...but after reading the books you understand reading Tolkien is like chess. You gotta get all the pieces in the right position before making the big moves.

2022-09-17 18:17:34 +0000 UTCI know what happens throughout the 2nd age, so cant speak as someone who doesnt but all i can say is they are setting the stage well for really big events in the history of the Tolkien lore imo. They need to do this stuff for later events to make sense. As for trivia: Theres a sword in the room with the Palantier which looks exactly like Narsil (sword that cut the ring from Saurons hand) & Mithril was the material that Frodos shirt was made of & was only ever found here. We never got answers as to how Mithril is formed..👀 The writers have all 5 seasons planned out to the point where they know what the final shot of the last episode will be, i have faith that they know what they're doing. Maybe faith misplaced.. but truth be told, im enjoying being in Middle Earth again with new characters
