Some non spoiler knowledge for you guys: The reason Daemon seizing Dragonstone was so scandalous and treasonous was that Dragonstone was House Targaryen's ancestral home. It was where they lived when they first came to Westeros and it became the traditional seat of theking's heir and came with the title Prince of Dragonstone. Daemon was always the assumed heir and Viserys never actually officially named him heir because he (Viserys) was waiting for his own son to come along. At the end of Episode One when Rhaenyra is named heir, she officially gets the title Princess of Dragonstone which signifies that Viserys is completely serious about her becoming his heir. When Rhaenyra comes of age (which is 16yo) she would be expected to live at and rule Dragonstone until she becomes Queen. So seizing Dragonstone and taking the dragon egg meant for the dead baby was Daemon provoking his family is a very calculated and personal way.
