I'm already in 1 episode on team Daemon Targaryen. That proper savage energy, cunning, etc. Him listening in on that whack council just grinning in the shadows. Brilliant. His dragon is sick as well. Agree that he's walking that line between I'm just doing what's right vs "full on villain".

I love the prophecy/legend of The Winter tying together the mythology in that way. Love that the crud has already begun and how it speaks to how this stuff passes through the generations tell we reach the era we've already seen from GOT. Everything about the final season of GOT for me is really good except them messing up the journeys of Jaimie Lannister, Jon Snow with endings that didn't work for them. Still love that whole series overall despite that shit but excited for the exploration of this time period. Going back in time like this reminds me of reading The Darth Bane "Legends" Star Wars trilogy + other books that deal with the formation of The Sith.

The move Viserys makes for his heir. It shows how much of a herb this man is. Because he’s not thinking for the long run, due to his current actions that he has made.. as we will later see down the line of this season..

It’s interesting to what you’re saying regarding the male bloodline being cursed when the Targaryen use blood magic and also incest. Maybe this is a side effect of utilizing blood magic? Idk. Because Jaehaerys lost many sons and daughters. And his last living son had Viserys. So it’s true of how the men don’t have success of long life.

i never watched game of thrones so i feel like i have a duty to watch house of dragons. on a side note you guys sure know how to look crisp for a premier.

got is the show for me that 100% confirms that some things just arent for everybody ...ive tried numerous times to enjoy this franchise but i can never stay locked in for any longer then 30 minutes ....i can tell its good but the entire mid evil/viking "my lord my sire" era genre doesnt do it for me no matter how much i pay attention

I recently finished the book that this show is based on and something i find really exciting is even after reading it, a lot of things arent explained. Its written from the viewpoint of a Maester recording history.. and history is written by the victors. Excited to see what was left out of those books 👀 i just hope they dont turn Daemon into Stannis.2

Idk if you guys noticed but Ser Cole who beat Daemon in the tourney, was a squire to Lord Dondarrion, and Dondarrion was the name of the knight in GoT who came back to life mad times. I love the little details of this show already
