Trifecta - Revised Edition
Added 2021-04-02 19:23:42 +0000 UTCThis is something that I've been wanting to do for a long time so I took the last year or so and completely reworked, revised and updated this story to how I feel like it needed to be. I know that some of you that have already read Trifecta will probably be wondering what the point of me doing this is, you probably even thought it was fine how it was, and that's totally alright. The original document will still be available on Patreon if that's what you prefer. For me, however, I've always felt like there were little things to be desired for the story overall so I gave some chapters a little tune up, giving you more time and depth with certain characters along with adding a whole new final act to give this story the ending that I thought it really deserved.
When it comes to my work, whether I love it or hate it, I feel like if I've put it out into the world it's pretty much complete, but when it comes to Trifecta and Where the Heart Is, there's always been a little extra that's left me desiring more. So I'm giving you this complete revised edition of Trifecta as the new canon for that timeline and eventually I hope to rework Where the Heart Is - under the new title The Art of Miscommunication - as well. Again, if all of this isn't your cup of tea, that's totally fine, but as an artist I feel like a fraud if I'm not putting the most authentic and complete work that I can out there so that's what I hope to do with these revisions.

First let me say that I'm so sorry to hear about your loss and that I completely understand your reasoning to hold off on reading. By no means would I want you to put yourself Ina difficult position with what you're going through. Personally I would also want you to start from the beginning instead of skipping ahead because the story as a whole has been bolstered up a lot but again, whenever you feel that you're ready to visit the story.

2021-04-08 18:20:24 +0000 UTCThank you for the Trifecta reboot. It is still my favorite story of yours. However, at this time I will not be able to read it. The reason for that is I know how I felt about the scenes involving Delilahs passing and the aftermath of that. You are such a good storyteller that those scenes evoke a strong emotional response. At least in me they did. I recently lost a very dear friend, someone who also wrote stories on Lit. Reading those scenes would be hitting too close to home for me. I do look forward to reading this when I am able to. I could just skip to the new final act you mentioned, but this story has some old friends in it. I want to be able to "visit" with them again. I hope that all makes sense, I know I rambled on a bit. Thank you for your time and for sharing your kids with us.
