The Wild One - Chapter Eight
Added 2020-08-19 06:18:56 +0000 UTCEvery time I sit down to do one of these introductions I always stare at my keyboard for like twenty minutes going, 'fuck...what do I even say? does it even matter?' and then I spew out some random stuff for y'all to read. So, this is my random thought for y'all to read. I've had a long couple of weeks, a lot of grueling editing involving this story and plenty of writer's blocks as I try to dive into something new but what's most important is that I'm back with a new chapter for everyone and I hope you guys love it.
There's some new characters introduced this time around, a mixed big as I'm sure you'll soon agree, but it's always fun to throw something new in the mix and see what shakes out. Also I'd say there's a few fun twists and turns to this chapter, so as much as you enjoy yourself I also hope that I catch you on your toes here and there. I so love it when that happens. Again, I hope you guys like this and if you do, feel free to leave a comment and tell me why. I love it when I get to hear all of your favorite things about the chapters, it's honestly the best part of my day.
Alright then, y'all, have a good one, stay safe, be good to each other and, as always, happy reading!

I agree with Jane. I too wonder what Tug was doing while Max was in the city. But, even though it feels like a lot of time has past, I know it's only been part of a day. And you leave it at that point? But....but.... come on!!! I don't want to wait to find out what happens next. Do they get away? Does Aldis get his stable hand? Does Max find her way back to Tug or foes Tug come and find her? And what of Beren, where does he end up? Waiting (not so patiently) for the next chapter. Thank you for your stories and for sharing your children with us.

2020-08-19 23:28:41 +0000 UTCI enjoyed this chapter and the introduction of the new characters. Seeing Beran survive the attack and explaining his past was nicely done. Max is still an enigma to me. I would have thought the first thing she would want when seeing Beran would be to figure out what happened to both of them. Forget trying to work out the diplomatic stuff, especially since her father hired an assassin to kill her. I mean if my only parent tried to have me killed (twice) iwould put a priority on finding out why not trying to save his kingdom. As for the cliff hanger, the assassin has either returned or it’s her father. I agree with Jane as wondering how Tug is doing and if they are spiritually connected through Max’s scar and tightness of her heart. Max needs Tug, she’ll never be as strong as she has the potential to be without her. Of all the characters the only one I trust is Tug. Look forward to more mysteries and suspense.

2020-08-19 23:06:55 +0000 UTCWow, great chapter. I really felt for Max as she was being ignored in Braemore then the guard thinking she was mad at least she had a nice surprise after. I like Aldis he seems a great character and offers a different set of relationship dynamics for Max. I have enjoyed reading Max's personal growth from the braty princess to who she is becoming through the physical and emotional journey she is on. Whilst this was Max's chapter , and a great one at that, I can't help thinking what Tug was doing and how she was coping. That is thr level of feeling I have for your characters. Thank you
