I really enjoyed how you have brought out the differences in Max and Tug and how they are beginning to relate to each other’ culture. Kind of a book smart Max and a street (forest) smart Tug. Plus, adding the concept of two princesses with what we know from chap 1 is going to make this very interesting moving forward. Cannot wait to read more.

2020-05-22 16:42:34 +0000 UTCBy how chapter 1 ended, and the title of this story, I had already guessed that this would be a ‘Tarzan and Jane’ like story, and that is in no way a bad thing. There is just something about love stories between people of different cultures. This chapter is an amazing showcase of our second heroine, just like chapter 1 was showcase of who Max is. I can already say Tug is amazing. I just love her, especially her name. It is so simple, and it just fits perfectly. I will also praise you for making your exposition seem natural. One of the most important things in a fantasy story, is to make the world fell real. By making Max and Tug explain what they don’t know to each other is such a natural way for exposition, plus it helps them get closer. The fact that Tug is from a tribe of shapeshifters helps make her and her tribe more interresting, than they would be, if they where just normal forrest natives. This is after all, a fantasy world. Keep up the good work.
