Updates and Changes

I've got several things I wanted to talk about and share with you all.

First off, the big update is that I am finally back to drawing! The creative block seems to have passed and my broken finger, despite still not being 100% recovered, has reached the point where I can draw again. I'm trying to take it slow so as not to burn myself out as I did before months back, but stuff is being worked on, so my patreon will resume in september. However, there are going to have to be a few changes.

The big change is that I don't think I'm going to do a big update of new stuff at the start of every month anymore. Pushing myself to do that, to get a good amount together in time each month just caused a lot of stress and contributed to my problems. Although the start of september will see me sharing a few new things all at once, going forward, new stuff is going to be more paced out, posted as and when I finish things throughout the month.

And for my premium patrons, I'm sorry but for now, I can only guarantee one new premium comics page per month, whereas in the past I've always tried to do at least two. There may very well be some months where there are two, but that's not a guarantee. Although I am going to try and supplement that one page with premium exclusive sketches and possibly pics. I'm very sorry about this, but trying for two per month every month was proving too stressful.

There is one other thing I wanted to talk about. I don't know if anyone noticed, but my patreon account was suspended for a short time recently. This was due to me needing to go through their age verification process and having some trouble with it. But for a while there, I wasn't sure I was going to get my account back and so gave some thought to alternative subscription sites.

I want to stress that I currently have no plans to start a page elsewhere, but it is still a thought at the back of my mind. After all, some people have problems with Patreon and might prefer being able to get access to my stuff elsewhere, and it might be good to have a back up if something should happen to my patreon on a more permanent basis. It would be just the same as my patreon, with standard and premium tiers at the same prices, with all the same stuff.

However, my concern is that my premium patrons signed up on the understanding that the premium content here would be patreon exclusive, so I feel like it would be unfair to change that and have it appear elsewhere, at least without their approval. So, I wanted to ask, how would you feel about premium content appearing under a premium tier on another site? Would you be okay with it? I might run a poll about this sometime soon.

Again, there are no definite plans right now, this is just a thought at the back of my mind and wanted to see how my patrons feel.
