A Test of Something New!

Well, shortly after that post, I thought what the hell, just go for it, give it a try! And I did, throwing myself into it over the past few days and producing a simple basic test, which I have just finished and thought I’d share with you all.
So, what is it, you might wonder? It's my very first attempt at a Visual Novel!
I’ve been tempted to try my hand at the visual novel format off and on for a few years, and at one point, even bought some software for it when I saw it on sale. But for one reason or another, I never actually got around to trying it until now.
I would like to stress at this point that this is just a test run, me trying it out to get an idea of what’s involved and how the basics of it work. The script/story is a very short and simple, just something quick I threw together. The art is similarly quickly done and nothing special. If you check it out, don’t expect anything great, just a quick experiment with the format.

Simply download and unzip the file and run the exe file in the folder. Hopefully it works, as I am new to putting out anything in this format.
I also hope some of you get some degree of enjoyment from this little test/experiment. I would be open to doing more visual novel stuff in future, especially as I now have a little experience with it. I even have a few vague ideas.
