Plans for 2021

Let’s be honest, last year really sucked, for all sorts of reasons. A lot of which had an impact on me and made working on anything creative a difficult struggle and I didn’t accomplish anywhere near as much as I wanted to during last year. I can only continue to express my appreciation to you all for your continued support during this time.

And now we’re into 2021. I won’t bore you all with the details, but it has been going pretty badly for me so far, exhausting and stressful. I mean, I had hoped to write this post in the first few days of the year, but have only now been able to get to it. But oh well, it’s only been a few weeks, plenty of time for 2021 to improve.

So, the purpose of this post is to fill you all in on what I’ve got in mind for this Patreon in the year ahead, ideas and plans and such. Of course, the unpredictable nature of the times we’re currently living in means in remains to be seen how much of this works out, but here goes...

Lowering Prices

This is just a vague idea at the moment, but I am considering maybe lowering the cost of the various tiers of my Patreon. I have been starting to become concerned that maybe the cost is keeping some people away. We’ll see how I feel after I have thought about it some more, but don’t be surprised if the cost of being a patron here drops in the near future.

Catching Up

It really bothers me that I have fallen behind on a lot of stuff last year, pics I owe my highest tier patrons, as well as that orc pic you all voted for back in October. I need to make it a priority to catch up and stay on top of things in future.

Writing

One thing I really hated about last year is that my writing side was completely stalled throughout most of it. I really want to get back to writing this year and try to produce a lot more stories. Here’s hoping I can manage it.

Streaming

I would really like to get back into streaming for my patrons this year, assuming there are some of you who are interested in that. Ideally, I’d like to have a regular day and time for streaming, but with my job making my sleeping pattern somewhat unpredictable, that tends to be difficult. We’ll have to see what I can figure out.

Produce More ‘House of Lazarus’ and ‘Furry Guardians’

This year, I would like to try and do a lot more for these series, I do need to try and accelerate my work on new pages, I hate being so slow with them. Also, I am thinking I might try to start working on the newest issues alongside the remakes.

Finish ‘A Meeting of Masters’

I really do want to finally finish this comic this year. Back when I first started, it was supposed to be a quick 6-8 page comic, but it quickly grew as I worked on it. I recently worked out the rest of the comic, and I can confirm it is going to run to 22 pages.

More Comics

I would like to try and work on some other comics projects this year, especially once ‘A Meeting of Masters’ is done. I do have various ideas I could work on, and I might even put up a poll to see which one my patrons would most like to see. So, look for that at some point.

Something New

And finally, I might very well be trying something new, a bit different, this year. I’m not going to go into details just yet, as it might not happen. But it is something I’ve wanted to try for a while. Should I get to it, you will all be the first to see it

So, that’s a rough idea of what I’d like to do this year. I hope it sounds appealing and interesting. Once again, thank you all for your continued support, especially during such tough times.
