Merry Christmas (and Happy New Year)

Hi folks,

Just a quick post to reiterate best holiday wishes and stuff. I know this year was (maybe) a little bit sad in terms of the channel stopping (and my eviction obviously) but onwards and upwards as they say.

I'm in the process of editing another T&E video but it's probably going to be the subtlest edit ever. And by that, I mean - it's a much more conventional T&E video so my entire aim is to make it feel like it's no different than any other video essay they've put out. So no silly animations unfortunately. There's a time and a place for those. It's about finding the right balance because the last thing I want to do is make them feel like I'm just inserting myself into their business and creative outlet.

Hope you guys have a lovely xmas and New Year though. Hope you get all the things you want to get / see all the people you want to see / eat all the food you want to eat, etc. Safe travels if that's a thing you're doing. I'm not gonna say the cliché thing about how next year will be 'a better year'. It's not that I'm superstitious - I just feel like the last several years have ended with people saying those words and then being incredibly wrong (sometimes as quickly as January 1st in fact).
