"Nobody" (Avenged Sevenfold) Solo Lesson/Analysis
Added 2025-04-30 15:35:11 +0000 UTC"Nobody" by Avenged Sevenfold is a modern day classic and is already infamous for its insanely demanding technical requirement. This solo will test your economy picking and sweeping precision to its limit!
I used the official transcription from Synner as a base for this lesson, but fixed a bunch of parts to match the proper album version (the official transcription is the live version for some reason), so you can jam along to the original.
Also, if you're looking to spice-up your solos with some Jazzier flavors and are interested in diving into the world of chromaticism, this is actually an amazing solo to study. There's a bunch of insanely cool melodic minor/altered and half-diminished licks in here which can help you get to grips with this more "outside" kind of harmony.

He claimed it was the hardest solo hed ever learned and now Bradley too. Already knew it was a bit out of reach for me but now I know its more than a bit lol. Still adding to practice routine though. Look out for a 10% speed cover ine 10 years from me lol

This is one of my favourite solos of all time and stands tall alongside Friedman's best. The album is brilliant too. - I honestly don't care for A7x but adore this.
