ABBA(!?) Neoclassical Metal Exercise
Added 2025-02-11 16:04:48 +0000 UTCBelieve it or not but ABBA are among the greatest songwriters of all time and often incorporated some super cool Neoclassical elements into their songs. Their classic "Lay All Your Love On Me" is a perfect example of this, which features a sick Bach-like solo over the final repeating chorus.
It actually makes for an amazing exercise so I've Metal'd-up the arrangement a bit and fully transcribed it for you guys to have fun with! I also took the liberty of adding my own solo for those of you who want an extra challenge (you have been warned!).
Good luck and don't forget to share your progress with everyone in the Discord server!
