"Hail To The King" (Avenged Sevenfold) Solo Transcription & Lesson/Analysis
Added 2024-04-28 16:27:47 +0000 UTCAvenged Sevenfold is my favorite band of all time so I've been super looking forward to doing a solo lesson on them - and the day is finally here! Today we're gonna be learning and breaking down the classic solo to "Hail To The King".
This is an awesome solo that has something for players of all levels to get stuck into! The intro especially is an amazing hand-sync exercise for those of you who struggle with that aspect of alternate picking. And as for the more advanced players among you, the twiddly economy picking lines near the end of the solo should provide you with a suitable challenge!
Good luck and don't forget to share your progress with everyone in the Discord server!

Definitely putting this on my to-learn list, at least the first part. BTW would you be willing to do some sort of video on your tones you are using? Everything sounds so cool and clear at the same time. (Like full chords, which I'm not quite able to dial in. Mine sound a bit muddy.)
