How To Program MIDI Drums

I know there's loads of you here that are just starting to venture into (or wanting to venture into) the world of home recording and keen to start committing those home-brewed riffs and solos to disk! But unfortunately you're not gonna get very far if you don't know how to program some tasty drums to accompany your creations.

In this lesson I show you exactly how to get started writing digital drums using MIDI plugins, as well as some songwriting tips and best practices to incorporate into your compositions.

I'll be following this up with an advanced MIDI drums lesson very soon, where I'll be showing you some more in-depth beats and fills to make your drums even more pro!

Good luck and don't forget to share your progress with everyone in the Discord server!

Awesome lesson, needed this. Such an important part of being a modern guitarist, but feels like very few people teach this for guitarists from the perspective of a guitarist. MOAR please! Could you also do one for MIDI bass? Thanks!
