The Ultimate Rhythm Guitar Workout
Added 2023-11-15 23:37:04 +0000 UTCI know that we focus mainly on lead playing here at the Guitar School but it's super important that you don't let your rhythm chops fall behind! Rhythm is such an integral aspect of music and not something that should be neglected. Plus it doesn't only benefit your riffing; having a strong sense of rhythm can really benefit your soloing too!
So I've constructed this thorough, all-encompassing rhythmic workout for you guys to grind-out when you have time to practice! This workout is not only designed to improve your sense of rhythm, but also your reading of rhythmic notation AND picking hand endurance. Triple win!
The idea is to start from the beginning and play along until it gets too difficult (then hopefully get progressively further the more you practice)!
Good luck and don't forget to share your progress with everyone in the Discord server!

Hi Bradley, I have to say, I really enjoyed this exercise. And you're right the dotted section through me off. But I'm determined to get through it!

2024-03-11 03:00:25 +0000 UTCI was like "I'm not gonna learn Remembrance, I'll play this instead" but this is worse lmao (and it gives the same vibe of rhythm hell pattern)
