This is by far one of the most common questions I get asked by guitar students (all throughout the entirety of my 15+ years of teaching).
My definitive answer to this question is “no... but it sure makes life easier!”
The purpose of this book is to give you a tl;dr explanation of essential music theory concepts that you can not only use for reference, but also as a springboard for more in-depth study if you so wish.
This guide is mostly aimed at musicians with a basic-intermediate understanding of music theory, but I guarantee that even advanced players will learn something!

The explanations in videos are more inspiring and intuitive to me. Hope that in the future, Bradley's videos are still the core content here. Besides, I wany to join the weekly live streaming but it is 3am in my time zone. If there is an alternative starting time occasionally, it would be great. Again, appreciate all the work Bradley has been done. Awesome!
