A small blog post

Hello everyone! I hope May is treating you well :)

I just felt like chatting for a little and inform you of a few things going on in my life that are related to my drawings and patreon. 

First of all, you will notice a lack of posts this month due to the Your Character Here reward being NSFW. Tthis kind of content is only available to Froglet patrons and up and it's already here, so if you'rer ever curious, you can always take a look at that tier! Some times in the future I will be drawing NSFW and of course the content won't be shown for Tadpole members or members that contribute without choosing a tier or any rewards. Please be mindful of that if you ever notice that I post less some months! 

Speaking of rewards, I have been a veeery lazy person and haven't started yet this month's piece. Okay, not actually lazy, but perfectionist. It is a very ambitious piece, at least my intentions with it are ambitious, so I have been procrastinating due to a classic episode of me wanting it to be perfect and nott knowing hohw. This is a problem I have yet to work on ( ˘︹˘ ) Perfectionism is one of my main defects when it comes to drawing, and I want my monthly drawings to be challenging but fun. That means that I want to find a good balance between doing a good job and not obsessing over it! It's hard but I will get there eventually :) Because of this, I might have to drag some of the illustration to next month and take it easy on June's illustration. I will try to avvoid dragging the drawing, but if I do I will post my last progress on it in this tadpole tier. After all, you are still contributing economically, so I owe you a reward. Whatever the outcome, you will have something by the end of the month!

Still, next month I will make an easier illustration because this one is way TOO ambitious, and I can't force myself to big challenges every month or else I will start to crumble. The Frog Project is not only a patreon facewash, but also a promise of change. I want to evolve, improve and slowly get to draw more and more mindfully. Practice composition, color, anatomy, not only draw your everyday poker-faced bust (which I don't have anything against, but I do love trying different stuff). I want to keep trying the kawaii style and broaden my shop to that kind of customer who journals and likes cute stickers or collects kawaii goodies. Why? Because, in my heart, I'm part of them.

Speaking of cute merch! I might be trying a new online store AND I might be trying some samples of wooden pins (ɔ◔‿◔)ɔ ♥ Since it will be just a sample, I won't put them for sale and I won't bug myself with a new design, so the pin design will PRESUMABLY be of my froggie Choi that I drew a few days ago. Whoa, it would be a dream to have a pin of my own character!!! I'm very excited about it.

I feel chatty today so I'll also let you know that my best friend, my spirit sister, is coming to live in my city and I'm so excited for that! I can't wait to be able to see her whenever we want (of course, within the pandemic protocols). It's a really great new which fills my heart with warmth.  AAAAAA 😭😭😭

I will also try to go back to bullet journaling to see if I finally find a spread that works for me. My hope is to find a way to schedule myself a little and don't just randomly draw whenever I can convince myself to do it, which, more often than not, happens to occur at 1am lol,,,, speak of unhealthy. But yes! I hope this blog didn't bore you to death, I tried to keep things related to this site and thought it would be nice for you to learn a little more about my life, shenanigans and thoughts concerning art o3o Thank you if you read this far!
