Hand Studies Week 2
Added 2019-08-22 18:15:24 +0000 UTCOhai! I haven’t touched the challenge for quite a long time but I still plan on going for it! Since last time I only drew 8 hands, I felt it was a weird number so this time I did 12 more to get to 20. I’ll try and do at least 10 each time💦
Many people compliment the way I draw hands, but I think they don’t reaaaally think about the work that goes behind the scenes. What did the trick for me was stopping to hide hands in pockets and behind bodies, and watch constantly the way mine move. And, of course, tooons of practice. I don’t really practice them apart, they always are part of a bigger drawing, but this practice will help me try and figure out poses I never do in my illustrations. They might come in handy in the future (haha, HANDY).
