Now I'm starting to understand Korra. She is SUPER CONFIDENT. Like to a fault. She is borderline cocky. Doesn't have any patience whatsoever, doesn't have any grace for real, doesn't have anything calm about her... but that's kind of why she's so badass!
Also, the same thing happened with Aang. He was SUPER eager to learn and progress, and I feel like that is just the natural temperament of the Avatar. Especially when they are so young. I mean, how could you not let that kind of power go to your head every now and again.
This show is fucking cool. Fuck yeah.

2025-10-27 14:31:08 +0000 UTCIt’s not as explicitly explained yet but Korra having trouble with air bending is not just a personality thing, it’s also a sentiment towards how she was raised. She was cooped up and was walled off in the south pole her whole life up until this point and does not know what freedom feels like and had not been given the privilege to just exist and live her life. I think its one key difference too with Aang since he was well traveled and grew to appreciate the world he was in and it became an integral part as to why he embodied being the avatar, to protect the world he grew to care. This is something we see more for Korra but for her, since she was a child she was brought up in an image and very high, perhapss too high, of expectations as the avatar. But thats also what makes her compelling, and this show will eventually show that to Alex.
