This episode was a bit on the slower side, but so necessary for the character development of Rick, Carl, and Michonne. This episode was wild because you can tell that Rick is still SERIOUSLY fucked up in his head after Gemma died... He's legitimately unraveling before our eyes. That being said, he still has a lot of moments where he shows his leadership. To be honest, it's pretty fucking messy. That's exactly why it's so good though.
Now Carl. I've had my moments where Carl really pissed me off. He annoyed the shit out of me earlier on in the show, but now things have changed. He's stepping up. He's cold blooded. He's doing things that kids his age should NOT have to do, and he's doing it in a really stoic manner.
ALSO! I FUCKING LOVE that Carl and Michonne are getting closer. I feel like she can really teach him a lot of badass shit! Carl is about to be such a valuable member of this team. Even more than he already is.
It wasn’t a “holy shit, chaos everywhere” kind of episode, but it hit in a different way. Slower, heavier, and it made me care more about these three than I did before. Sorry for the book of a blurb. I just had a lot to say about this one!

2025-10-20 04:07:23 +0000 UTCi kind of agree. i definitely understand doing what you want bc its your channel but when we can tell that hes watching more than two eps at once but insists on releasing them at a slower pace, it starts to feel like he wants to milk the series for as long as possible for the simple fact that its in high demand by his audience. cause clearly he cant wait a week to watch more than 2 episodes so how can you expect your audience to.

2025-09-27 10:29:39 +0000 UTCNot to be an asshole and im sorry if I come across that way but we are paying for this, its pretty obvious that Alex watches these in around five episodes per sitdown, so I feel like he should give the viewers around the same amount in at least three, otherwise it will just take forever to finish this amazing show.
