Wow!! I was super impressed with this episode! Such a deviation from what we've been getting this entire season, so far! The origin story of Luke Cage is so fucking dope! It lowkey reminds me for Prison Break a bit... anyone else?
Honestly seeing the parallel between him punching himself out of prison and them him punching his way out of the debris was some sick ass symmetry.
I think the whole underground fight ring was ridiculously wild! Fucking dope ass episode! I loved every second of this one!
Such an underrated show! I can't believe more people don't talk about this show!

The actor who plays Luke Cage played a priest-in-training on the show Evil, which I believe he played right after this role. It was on CBS and was canceled, but picked up by Netflix. It was good on CBS, but it became a, imo, very good, and unique, religious/psychological horror-type show. I am partial to that genre, but thought I'd share in case you'd like to appreciate his soothing voice some more 😁😊
