This episode was so fucking necessary! I really love how they slowed things down for this episode. This is the first episode after Echo left the group, and Omega is SO FUCKING SAD! Breaks my heart to see.
This entire episode seems to be about grief, loss, and coping mechanisms. Omega is still just a kid, and she feels like her brother left the family. She's shattered. The rest of the squad seems to be going on their way and carrying on, which is exactly what you'd expect from a bunch of soldiers.
The conversation that Tech and Omega had was honestly really nice, and I think it's a great thing to do, in terms of slowing down the pace of the show and getting more in tune with the emotional side of things!
REALLY fucking loved this one! Solid ass episode!

As many have said. Tech is on a high level of the Autism/Aspergers spectrum. I think they handled it very well. Showing his care, feelings, and processing, even if he doesn't understand feelings intuitively of others always. And dealing with the grief and all of them working together as a family through tough times that this is for Omega especially. How kids may feel when they are going through a tough time with things seeming to just get worse and people around them are bickering, seem not to care on the surface to the kid. I didn't watch this as a kid but I imagine it was a good lesson to kids learning how to cope with similar grief and it's a great moment in the story of the show
