What's up guys!?

So, we are continuing the Defenders shows so we can finally work our way into Daredevil Season 3 and Daredevil: Born Again. Coming into Luke Cage, I wasn’t sure if it was gonna live up to the bar Jessica Jones set. That show was so dark and heavy and Kilgrave was such a sick, terrifying villain that I honestly thought there was no way this could hit the same. But then again… I was wrong about Jessica Jones at first, so I will probably be wrong as fuck about this show, as well.

AND HOLY SHIT!!! This first episode was actually pretty damn impressive! The whole Harlem vibe, the music, the culture, everything was a fucking vibe! TOTALLY different from Jessica Jones, but I can already tell I'm really going to like this show!

Luke is just such a badass. He doesn’t need to flex or show off or anything. He's just a natural badass with that deep ass lay naked by the fire on a velvet rug type of voice. That barbershop scene reminded me of a barbershop I used to go to in Houston... Big Katz barbershop. Brought me back to my law school days.

I came in skeptical, but Episode 1 shut me up the fuck up. If the rest of the show keeps this energy, we’re in for something super badass!
