Honestly, this is one of the CRAZIEST and most incredible movies I've seen in a VERY long time! There are some movies out there that have the potential to literally change your life. This movie had that effect on me.
LOVED IT SO MUCH! 12/10.

I made the mistake of watching this after my mother had a massive stroke and couldn't speak or walk anymore, and I was a mess after. I ran to go visit her at the hospital immediately after I left the theater. Covid was still kinda around when this film came out so it just made me a better son, I hope. My mother passed away last year and EEAAO is one of my favorite films and I could watch it over and over again. I loved watching Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan's speeches after winning all of the awards. I even bought the Hotdog Finger Gloves and the rock with googly eyes from the A24 website ... but after August of 2024, after my mom left ... I couldn't even see a photo or short of this film without it tearing me apart. Today was the first time in a year and a half that I saw it from beginning to end and felt okay. So... thank you!

He was originally known for movies like The Goonies and Indiana Jones but stopped receiving movie roles in the early 2000s and didn't act for 20 years. The directors decided to give him a chance with this movie and it ended up winning him an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, his acceptance speech is on YouTube and it's one of the most heartwarming things you'll ever watch.
