The Bad Batch | S1 E15 | "Return to Kamino" | (UNEDITED)

Hey guys!!

This episode was WILD AS FUCK!! It's crazy and heart-breaking at the same time that Kamino has been such a constant in Star Wars for so long, and now… it’s like we’re seeing the end of an era in real time. Shit gave some weird last day of school vibes... except my school never blew the fuck up.

That underwater entry was some next-level spy shit!! OMEGA IS SUCH A BADASS!!!! I love that girl. The tension was super palpable this episode. It was a bit weird, because it kind felt like we’re watching history get erased right in front of us.,,

Omega was the HEART of this episode, per usual. SHE'S MOMMA BIRD!

T'ing up the last episode of the season... fuck man.

Love you guys,

Alex

Crosshair didn’t remove his chip till later. He says a long time ago but was probably only within the last 5-6 episodes. Maybe when his head got blasted by the engine? But regardless when he initially turned it was indeed because of his chip. His affection for the empire stayed when the chip was removed sadly. You’re really gonna love his character development over the show. That’s all I’ll say

I think Crosshair’s arc is handled to perfection. No one’s journey is ever in one constant direction. Especially if they’re not sure which way they want to go. Omega was there when Clone Force 99 was born. She’s older than they are.

It was destroyed when the engine burned his face you can see it on the side of his head

Alex oversimplifying complex characters to either: A fucking dick, or a fucking badass, will never cease to amuse me.

A headcannon of mine is what experiences Omega had while confined on Kamino… the shows hints at it sooo subtly. In episode Bounty Lost, when taken to the old Kaminoan facility on Bora Vio, the way Omega looks so sadly at her reflection in the cloning tube. And then in this episode, they repeat this same shot in Nala Se’s lab. When taking the tube system, Tech asks how Omega knows about it. The sadness in her face and her voice… and who asks her if she’s okay? Echo. The most tortured clone of the Batch. Imagine how lonely her life was, down there, confined. Echo recognises it.
