Hey everyone!
This episode hit different! Not in a super dramatic way, but it was more like a quietly sad way. You know what I mean?
Watching Jim fall apart like that was tough! Now, he wasn’t some main character or anyone I was super interested in, but something about seeing him dig those graves, knowing what was coming, and watching everyone else slowly realize it… that shit was deep! Especially looking back at it in retrospect. It was uncomfortable, but weirdly peaceful by the end.
I appreciated how this episode slowed down. Gave us and the characters a little breathing room. This show is fucking weird, because I have never experienced a show that is as slow and entertaining at the same time! Such a weird feeling. Typically when I experience shows, if it's slow, I get bored and stop watching, but this one is much different.
With this episode, you could feel the weight of everything finally catching up to them. No big zombie set pieces, just people dealing with loss, fear, and the fact that there’s no real plan anymore.
And yeah… Gemma’s still out here pretending everything’s fine. Still hasn’t told Rick a damn thing. SO FUCKING ANNOYING! Just sitting there acting innocent while her secret’s rotting in the sun like a walker. Unbelievable.
Thanks for watching this one with me. Quiet episode. But it stayed with me.
Love you all,
Alex
