Sam Witwer Sets the Record STRAIGHT on George Lucas and Star Wars

Hey guys!

I can't get enough of this guy! He is incredibly articulate, well-spoken, passionate, insightful, funny, charismatic, and that's really just skimming the surface of what this guy has to offer!

I could literally sit back and listen to him speak all day! I am REALLY enjoying these Star Wars lore videos, because I truly feel like they give me so much more context and understanding in the development of the stories inside and outside of the film!

It was actually harder than I thought it would be to find some lore videos that didn't spoil anything. Nothing was spoiled at all, by the way. I was too afraid to click on most of the videos lol!

If you all have any SPECIFIC lore videos I could check out (Star Wars or anything else) please let me know!

Love you all so much,

Alex

I think if you ever get around to watching The Mandalorian, it would be cool for you to watch the behind the scenes stuff from that. The cast and crew talk a lot about the making of the show, especially the directors. And Dave Filoni discusses the exact thing Sam Witwer brought up at the end of the second video you watched. About how Qui-Gon Jinn was the “father” that Anakin needed, but when he died the “older brother” figure that he now has in Obi-Wan takes him in even though Obi-Wan is obviously not ready for that responsibility. It’s one of my favorite analyses of Star Wars in general.

All the behind the scenes for the OG trilogy, new shows and even the prequels is so damn awesome and kinda nostalgic to watch especially the older ones, the world was so different

Hey Alex, i noticed that you were surprised to hear that George Lucas revolutionised movie making in hollywood, and how movies are made today. And seeing as you have developed an interest for some Behind the Scenes and seeing how star wars is made, i just wanted to let you know there is a documentery series on Disney plus about ILM and how they created the star wars movies and how that lead to other hollywood blockbusters being made because of ILM. It is a bit a long watch per episode, but it is totally worth it in my opinion
