I’m getting more and more locked in now. This show just feels different. Gritty, nasty, slow in the best way... like it's not scared to sit in the tension and make you squirm a little.
Also, let’s just get this out of the way… GEMMA. I don’t care if her name’s Lori, she’s Gemma now. She’s giving full “I thought you were dead so I fucked your best friend” energy and I do NOT trust her. At all!! She’s got that quiet chaos vibe. Like she’d stab you and then cry about it.
I’m loving a lot of aspects about this show already, though. The atmosphere, the grime, the desperation. It feels so raw. (Sorry I said that) You feel the panic in your chest. And they're also doing shit that is disgusting but badass! The whole guts thing. Fucking disgusting. But, honestly, a really good move!
