No. I mean I get that he’s fighting the good fight, but man, the way he talks to Hera is straight-up dismissive! He's got some deeply-rooted trauma he needs to unpack ASAP. Zero respect for her leadership, her independence, her as a person... nothing.
He treats her like a foot soldier when she’s easily one of the most capable people in the galaxy! Fucking dumbass.
And yeah, maybe I’m projecting a bit, because this whole ‘dad who doesn’t listen or appreciate you’ thing hit a little too close to home. HAHAHA I'll admit that. Mine was the same way—more pride than empathy, more control than connection. So watching Hera stand her ground was kind of therapeutic, in a messed-up way. I don’t know if the show meant for it to get that deep, but damn… it landed.
