Starting off this week strong with 3 more episodes of Arcane!!! I am continuously so impressed with this show! I think what took me by surprise most this episode was just how well done the fight scene was between Jinx and Ekko!
Toggling back and forth between them now and them in the past! Seems like Ekko liked her in the past and he could totally destroy Jinx, but didn't have it in him to destroy Powder...
So well done! FUCKING LOVE THIS SHOW!
Question: how does season 2 compare to season 1?

Mel's kind of racist towards Viktor. She's giving him subtle jabs and purposely leaving him out of conversations when Viktor is clearly part of them, cutting his voice out of the decision-making and creating conflict between Viktor and Jayce.

No idea who that is apparently it could be someone who animated on the show before and (supposedly) died. Every tribute in a movie/show to a person who worked on it always hits me so hard. Ep7 is amazing

2025-04-07 16:58:07 +0000 UTCThe bridge scene has clever parallels with Powder in episode 1. She sings the song as a comforting melody as she travels through the ruins with Vi to keep herself calm. In this episode, she is humming it as she mercilessly executes topsiders who were oppressing them since they were born. Chilling. And the whole fight integrating flashbacks with Ekko was amazing, showcasing their bond perfectly without bonds, even when we didn't see them interact at all in act 1.

2025-04-07 16:42:52 +0000 UTCI think season 2 is better than seaon 1!! It was definitely more "emotionally involving", art style is still perfect and the musics slap harder than S1! The only thing that comes to my mind, as a league player knowing the lore is that it HAD to skip a lot of things for the story to be understandable and doable in less that 55 seasons lmao. So it can feel a bit rushed towards the end but it's still makes sense and is great nonetheless
