It's a show that I know Alex would love and get so involved with the characters. Just watching the first 5 seasons would be enough for me. Anything past that would be just icing on the cake. :P

What are you basing your argument on? Sooo, can you explain to me how telling you that a large portion of the shows viewership were people under the age of 20, and now literally quoting actual numbers of people under 17, that still doesn't disprove you? And yes, if we're talking book specifically, then sure, but I mean, let's be fair then, that's not just Percy Jackson, that's anything that is a book and not a TikTok video for most people under 20... So fair enough, that was my misunderstanding then, so I apologize for that. But my point is that even though the peak of the books was there, the franchise of Percy Jackson in general, is reaching a new peak though, and I did mean that I'm sorry that you didn't like it, but for me and plenty of others the show gave us exactly what we wanted and hoped for. And to be fair, I'm saying this as me and my best friend having had our doubts about the Annabeth actress, not because of the race swap or anything, but because during the interviews for the show, her vibes were just a bit... Off, but then in the show itself, she actually did really well. Just to clarify that I'm saying this as someone, and with a friend, who were pretty skeptical about that part of it.

As for younger, my niece is literally 9 and loves the show as well, and she's a TikTok generation one, which I think says plenty as well. So, it's a bit weird to me that you're just assuming the age of people that are liking this show, based on your personal liking of it. Especially considering to the guesstimation of Disney= viewership numbers, Percy Jackson was the highest viewed show, including in lower age groups. I'm not a fan of those numbers since it's usually only Murican numbers and stuff like that, but the numbers still say at least SOMETHING. And I believe that more personally, than your personal assumption of the minimum age. Again, I find it strange that you think you get to decide when peak Percy Jackson was...

Like certain movies I don't really plan on watching myself, I still really enjoy watching the reactions of. And ones I really loved I really like watching as well. To each their own of course, but truthfully, a lot of what you said is very subjective and personal. Like plenty of people thought and still think that Avatar is great, not just fort he visuals. The things you mention are small details that aren't really that big of a deal. Who cares about a race swapped Annabeth, as long as she plays it well? Which she does. Who especially cares about a different color horse body? There is barely anything accurate about the movie compared to the book. Rick HATES the movies with everything he's got, and he's got direct say and freedom with the show. So again, I think he has more of a say in it than anyone, and him changing certain things that he feels work better, or going for an actress that fit his vision and had chemistry with the other two, over caring about race? I'm all for that personally. And not sure how they ruin Percy and Grover's friendship... But hey, to each their own

They race swap annabeth and for some reason chirons horse body is color swapped despite it being the only thing about his description that includes color. The movie has more parts that are accurate to the book and was just more enjoyable. It wasnt perfect but at least i enjoyed watching it unlike the show.
