I have to agree with Skyde. Watching the sequels just might make Alex not want to watch anymore. I have to admit though, the Force Awakens was decent and had me excited for the next one. But then Episode 8 ruined it and Rey turned into a MarySue and thus started Star Wars downward spiral.

So Alex the best way to watch the rest of Star Wars with understanding what is going on in Star Wars is Rebels The three sequel movies then jump back to the Bad Batch then Mando and Asoka after. All the other films and shows that are left don’t really matter if you do them in this order. You could honestly hold off on the Bad Batch until After Mando but it will provide some retrospective on Mando maybe even the sequel trilogy’s last film.

I just think it’ll be annoying to jump back in forth in the timeline like for example going into a show that takes place during the empire’s reign then all of a sudden going into another show that going backwards in the timeline during the beginnings of the empire. Honestly he could watch anything after rebels. That’s why rebels was so important cause after you watch that you can jump to nearly every show without lacking context. So he could go either kenobi mando bad batch or andor. We’ll probably have another vote when he finishes rebels although mando might win.

I think most people would disagree with you and Alex will probably like it a lot but the point is that he has to watch Star Wars in the correct order. It’s wouldn’t make sense for him to watch any other show except andor because every other show builds upon rebels or information given by rebels since that show released first.

No it wouldn’t make sense. It would make sense to watch it in release order. That way he is always aware of everything that’s going on and isn’t lacking any context plus he avoids getting spoiled that way. Chronological order is not a good way to watch Star Wars if you’re watching for the first time. It’s only good for rewatches.

We’re not doing chronological order. We’re doing release order which is the right way to go for first timers. Bad batch is filled with spoilers and references to rebels so it wouldn’t make sense to watch that first.

I think it made me cry more than any other Star Wars show did. Clone wars made me cry twice, once when ahsoka left and at the finale. Rebels made me tear up a few times. I feel like twilight of the apprentice and Jedi knight episodes might make him tear up a bit too.
