Not to mention it’s completely different to kill someone to protect your family who is in direct danger, vs some street thugs you can easily stop and killing people to progress fucked up science.

Its your choice if you decide to watch karate kid movies 1-3 first. Because the show kind of explains what happens and, who is who without you needing to watch the movies.
