Another Wednesday! Scary how fast these pop up, isn't it?! I can't believe we are already on Book 3!!
I LOVED this episode! It was really cool. To be honest, I thought the start of this episode was a dream. I won't lie... I thought Aang was a bit annoying in this episode. I totally understand his desire to help. I get this is like Michael Jordan sitting on the bench, but he's grown so fucking much over the last two book, that I feel like he should be more in control of his emotions.
Especially after he essentially died and came back to life. It's like Katara saved you dude!!! And you're just going to abandon all the strategy so people will know you are alive?! Kind lame. Again, understandable, but damn.
Anyway, THE FUCKING ANIMATION OF THIS BOOK IS GAME-CHANGER!!! Shit! Totally noticed that! Wild!

Just pause it tell us what you wanna tell us and then start the video back up so that you can react to the next part Because there’s a lot of really important stuff that we want you to react to, but you don’t react to it because you’re not paying attention to it

2025-01-30 17:28:16 +0000 UTCOnce again, I think you were a little too harsh in your criticism with Aang, Alex. He may be acting a bit irrational or emotional here, but it’s understandable why. He’s constantly been told that as the Avatar, his duty is to save the entire world (quite a lot of pressure to put on a preteen tbh). But at the end of Book 2, our group lost Ba Sing Se to the Fire Nation. And Aang failed to conquer the Avatar State. All of Team Avatar failed at the end of last season, but of course Aang is going to carry the weight of that burden the most because he is the Avatar. He feels like he failed the world and all of the people who were counting on him. And as others have already stated, you did talk over the scene, but one of the parallels in the episode is that both Aang and Zuko feel like they need to regain their honor. Imo it’s very easy to understand why Aang acts the way he does in this episode.

Which isn’t entirely true. I feel like you shouldn’t be called out too hard for remembering how you felt as a kid about these characters, or pointing out that they look like fully developed women😂. Also doesn’t help that all the characters are voiced by adults.

I don't think Alex would date a 14-year-old. When I was 12 I had a crush on Katara. Would that mean that I would data a 14-year-old now? Of course not but if I watch Avatar, I can think the 14-year-old version of myself would love to date her.

Some like azula cause she'll ruin your life or smtn idk, some like katara, cause she's the goat duhh, some like yue cause she was there for an episode or two and then turned into the moon so ig some people like the moon, some might like toph cause she's blind and would still probably dominate them in bed, some might like suki, cause she's also one of the goats, some like that chick we saw in the tales of ba sing se episode i forgot her name but shoutout to her, and some like everyone cause they're a creeps

So now he feels like he owes it to the world to always be there and never leave again to felt people get hurt.
