HOLY SHIT!!! This movie was EVERYTHING the 2016 version wanted to be but just... couldn’t. Look, I don’t hate the first movie. I actually really enjoyed it. But after watching this one, I realized how much better the second one is compared to the first. Now... the first movie. It had potential, it had the cast, it had the vibe it was trying to hit, but it ended up being kind of like a band with all the right instruments but no sheet music. You could see what they were aiming for, but the execution? Shit was kinda messy and didn't really hit the mark in my opinion.
Enter James Gunn!!! FUCKING LEGEND!! This guy brought a whole new vibe! Insane action, legitimately funny ass humor, and, most importantly, HEART. Every character had a purpose, and you found yourself rooting for characters you never thought you’d care about. Ratcatcher?!?!?! A LEGEND. King Shark? I just wanted to hug that lovable bastard! And don’t even get me started on Harley Quinn—Margot Robbie in this movie is PEAKKKKKKK
What I loved most was how Gunn leaned into the absurdity. It didn’t feel like the movie was ashamed of itself or trying to over-explain why these misfits were cool. It embraced the chaos and made it work. The first movie felt like it was written by a committee, trying to please everyone but fucking that objective up. This one? It was bold, unapologetic, and FUN.
The soundtrack slapped FUCKING HARD too, the visuals were wild, and the pacing kept you hooked from start to finish. It’s like the first movie was the rough draft, and this was the masterpiece we deserved!!

I just watched Sonic 3 and it was amazing and they are doing so well the producers are working on 4 and they said if people keep enjoying them. They have no problem making the Sonic movies as big and expansive as the Marvel universe.

Creature commando goes into what really happen and it wasn’t what it seemed. Yeah sadly together dlc live action films don’t meet the standards of this film. But the DCAU (DC Animated Universe) films do they all kick ass. It’s a series of 13-16 films all connected in the same universe covering everything from the justice league and Batman to teen titans and the suicide squad Kick ass series of films that can Rival the mcu imo
